Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for housing in the Pacifico Student Cooperative Housing, you must meet the membership eligibility and income requirements.

Student Status

Pacifico's  mission is to provide low cost housing for students at the University of California, Davis and other colleges and and post-secondary academic institutions in the area. We also accept a limited number of applications from non-students, providing they accept the responsibilities of cooperative living and an environment conducive to study and student lifestyles.

Income Restrictions

Members of Pacifico must earn 50-80% or less of the area median income (which is most students!) Pell grant recipients automatically qualify for membership. You may also qualify based on household size and annual family income.

Participating as a Member

Members of Pacifico set their own policies for governing the cooperative while abiding by all applicable laws.  Members are provided with documents describing the policies or Pacifico and their requirements for the members, and all members of Pacifico, according to their lease, are expected to live within these policies.  Fellow members, officers, or staff of Pacifico coop can answer any questions you may have about these policies.  You can view the current Policy Manual here, and you can view the current Owner's Manual (an introductory guide to Pacifico policies for new members) here.
